HGJ Business Assistant was designed for South African service businesses that wanted a simple way to manage customers, quotes, invoices and payments — without complicated accounting software. No spreadsheets, no jargon, no steep learning curve. Just talk, snap a photo, or type — and the business stayed organised. It shipped as a live product and is now retired; what remains is the engineering story and public codebase.

No. HGJ Business Assistant is built for business owners, not bookkeepers — capture what happened in plain language and the app handles quotes, invoices and payment tracking for you.

Is my data safe and private?

Yes. Voice recordings and photos are deleted immediately after they're processed — only the confirmed information you approve is ever saved. Nothing saves automatically without your confirmation.

Is the product still available to buy or subscribe?

No. HGJ Business Assistant has been retired as a live product. The public GitHub repository remains available as a portfolio / engineering reference.

Yes. It was built as a progressive web app that installs to the home screen and works on modern phones, tablets and computers.
